June was arguably my personal favorite month in reading so far this yearβI read a number of highly-anticipated summer releases and also made time for an older novel Iβve been hoping to read for quite a while now! Not only did I find myself reading at a good pace this month, but (even more importantly) I loved the majority of the books I read. To me, that really is the best mark of a great reading month: not how many books you read, but how much you enjoyed the books you did read. All in all, June was a distinct successβand Iβm looking forward to seeing what July has in store for me next. But first, a wrap-up of my June reads!

Happy June, reader! I feel like I say this every month, but I canβt believe how quickly this year is flying by. May has been a busy, busy month for me (as per usual), but itβs also been a fantastic month in books for me as well! I devoured the third installment in a trilogy I love (The Collector Trilogy by Dot Hutchison), I read a superb Nordic police procedural, and a whole lot more. Iβm also about to wrap up a fantastic summer psychological suspense novel - OUR HOUSE by Louise Candlish - but Iβll save that one for my June Wrap-Up, since I still have a few pages of it left! My month was dominated by psychological thrillers in March, even more so than usualβthough I did have one totally engrossing police procedural in the mix, too. Thereβs nothing like the feeling when youβre in a great groove with the books youβre reading - and Iβm excited to keep that going into the new month!

Another bookish month down! I canβt believe how quickly this February has flown by. It was a great month in books for me! I managed to read 5 full-length novels and one novella this Februaryβ¦ and I genuinely enjoyed all of them. This month was heavy on psychological suspense for me, and included a chilling boarding school mystery, a twisted serial killer story, and, perhaps most exciting of all, the new Ruth Ware book!
