Review: SECURITY by Gina Wohlsdorf

June 7, 2016

True ingenuity in a novel is hard to find, and Gina Wohlsdorf’s debut has it in spades. Much like its resort setting, SECURITY is a cutting-edge novel that showcases its creator’s impeccable design and eye for detail. Wohlsdorf writes a razor-sharp thriller with a clinical approach to gore, guaranteed to unsettle even the most seasoned crime reader.

Review: MARKED FOR LIFE by Emelie Schepp

May 29, 2016

Review: THE WOMAN IN CABIN 10 by Ruth Ware

May 7, 2016

In THE WOMAN IN CABIN 10, a β€œlocked-room mystery” takes to the high seas, with a murder on a luxury cruise liner. Engaging, spooky, and claustrophobic, this book will have you turning pages as quickly as you can. I can't recommend this book highly enough!

Review: THE CROW GIRL by Erik Axl Sund

April 25, 2016

Writing duo Erik Axl Sund's English debut succeeds at pushing the limits of crime writing, drawing the reader into a world that is as repulsive and deranged as it is addictive and emotional. I now consider this one of my most favorite books, second only to the works of Jo NesbΓΈ.
