Book Review: THE OWL ALWAYS HUNTS AT NIGHT by Samuel Bjork

February 9, 2017

Samuel Bjork’s U.S. debut I’M TRAVELING ALONE is one of my favorite books, and I’ve been eagerly anticipating Book 2 in the series, THE OWL ALWAYS HUNTS AT NIGHT, for ages now. Book Review: CLOSED FOR WINTER by Jorn Lier Horst

January 1, 2017

CLOSED FOR WINTER was exactly the kind of read I hoped it would be. When I picked up this book, I was looking for a slow-burning, fully immersive mystery - and this read absolutely fulfilled my hopes. This story is driven by the author's personal experience working in the police, and is a methodical, true-to-life police procedural.
