Author Interview: David Lagercrantz

September 11, 2017

If there’s one series that has become synonymous with Scandinavian crime fiction for American readers, it’s the late Stieg Larsson’s Millennium series. Launched with the infamous THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO, these books - and their leading lady, Lisbeth Salander - flung open the doors for Nordic Noir in the US. In the wake of Larsson’s passing, Swedish author David Lagercrantz has carried on writing Lisbeth’s story - and today, the newest series installment THE GIRL WHO TAKES AN EYE FOR AN EYE releases in the US! It’s my absolute pleasure to share that I was asked to interview David Lagercrantz for The Big Thrill, the website of the International Thriller Writers Organization - and that interview is now live!

ThrillerFest Interview: Cate Holahan, author of LIES SHE TOLD

July 19, 2017

This past weekend, I was lucky enough to attend ThrillerFest 2017, an annual crime fiction conference in New York! While at ThrillerFest, I sat down with author Cate Holahan, whose books DARK TURNS (2015) and THE WIDOWER’S WIFE (2016) have received fantastic praise from readers and reviewers alike, and whose upcoming psychological thriller LIES SHE TOLD (on sale 9/12/17) sounds right up my alley. LIES SHE TOLD includes a book-within-a-book mystery and an examination of what happens when reality and fiction collide. I absolutely cannot wait to start reading it!

Facebook Live Interview + Book Signing with Jo Nesbo

May 8, 2017

Tomorrow, May 9th, marks the US release of my favorite author Jo Nesbo’s newest Harry Hole novel, THE THIRST! In honor of this new series installment, I’m so excited to share this blog post recapping my incredible day spent meeting Jo and interviewing him on Facebook Live. I also attended his book discussion and signing at Barnes & Noble Union Square - an event which you’ll find recapped below as well! It was an absolute dream come true to meet Jo and have the chance to interview him, and I’m so thankful to his US publisher for making this possible.

April 8, 2017

Do you have any authors whose books you just can’t believe you haven’t read yet? Stuart MacBride is definitely one of mine. Last weekend, I got the best possible introduction to his books: while in Denmark for Krimimessen 2017, I got to sit down with Stuart himself and discuss his writing, his background, Shakespeare, and a whole lot more!
