Hey y'all!
Today I have a very special CBTB "first" to share: I was recently invited to represent the crime fiction genre on a podcast, Binge on Books! I appeared on an episode with fellow bloggers Vilma (Vilma's Book Blog) and Elisabeth (Cooking Up Romance), to discuss our most hotly-anticipated 2016 reads with the podcast's host, Judith. It was such a fun experience—I could have kept talking to those ladies for hours!
I'm linking to Judith's website below—that's where you can listen to the episode. If you want to skip to the crime books, my segment starts at approximately minute 9, but I highly recommend listening to the whole episode—Vilma, Elisabeth, and Judith all have such great recommendations across all different genres!
Thank you so much to Judith for including me in this episode. It was such a great experience, and I can't wait for the next chance to chat with these awesome bloggers!

Listened to the episode already? You can find full reviews of my 3 most hotly-anticipated 2016 reads below! (No spoilers, so I've simply titled them by the order they appear in the podcast.)
Book 1: a massive, utterly addictive Nordic Noir tome that I consider the "Mt. Everest" of its genre. Review here.
Book 2: a book that exemplifies all the best of contemporary psychological thrillers, with arguably the best plot twist I've ever read. Review here.
Book 3: a sexy, sizzling thriller of international intrigue & crimes in the art world, featuring a femme fatale I loved to hate. Review here.
