In just a couple days, I’ll be off to Scotland for the Bloody Scotland crime fiction festival! Today I'm going to be focusing on one of the (many!) exciting features of this festival: the "Pitch Perfect" program, and its "Graduates" panel. Pitch Perfect is an opportunity for new crime writers to pitch their novels to a group of publishing professionals, and to make things even better, Bloody Scotland also includes a panel featuring Pitch Perfect Graduates - writers who have participated in the Pitch Perfect program, and gone on to publish their crime novels. I'm thrilled to share Q&A's with this year's Graduates participants: Steph Broadribb (author of DEEP DOWN DEAD), Joseph Knox (author of SIRENS), and Matt Wesolowski (author of SIX STORIES)!

I’m eagerly counting down the days until I make my first trip to Scotland for Bloody Scotland 2017! I’ll be packing my bags and hitting the road for this festival in early September, and I can’t wait to cover the festival on CBTB. In preparation for Bloody Scotland 2017, I’m thrilled to share a Q&A with Bob McDevitt, Director of the festival! In our Q&A, Bob shares a bit of background information about Bloody Scotland, recommends Scottish crime fiction authors, and much more. Many thanks to Bob for graciously taking the time to answer my questions!
